This is Finntje: small, bubbly and immortalised

Some wee dogs are so much bigger than the mother nature intended.
They ooze personality and their character is boundless .
Finntjebelongs to that clan.
She's the size of "thruppence a-penny" but only for the initial minute after which her presence takes over and size becomes "so last season!" (yep there's a tween in the house and it's having quite an impact on my outlook on life ;D)
I am very happy to have more wonderful pics of her and will no doubt find her back on my drawing board.

Hi Shoena,

I've just discovered you through Gail Ragsdale's blog. I love your drawings; it's so nice to see pencil used so expertly. I use pencil myself but usually succumb to a bit of colour. I think I should be more brave!

Lovely to have found you and will be adding you to the blog list on mine....not that you need it by the look of your following!

Very best wishes,

Em

Hello Em, thanks for leaving a note on my blog and leading me to your beautiful world. What a stunning part of the world you live in and I just love variety of characters you share it with. Is your Dogs' name Mr Scruff? He's priceless! Look forward to reading and seeing more soon. All the best. (p.s tried publishing this to your blog but to no avail...)

Thank you Wendy. The owners still have to take delivery of the framed "Live" version but judging by the cyber response I received from them I think they will be :D

Hi Shoena,

So glad you enjoyed it. Actually, his name is Snippet but he was looking particularly scruffy in that picture. I find him very difficult to draw but must have another go having done some Spaniels as a wedding present last week!

Sorry you couldn't do it on the blog....not sure what's happening there....
